The Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index is a review of the U.S. consumer confidence levels that happens on a monthly basis. The survey is conducted by the University of Michigan and it gathers information and data about what consumers expect from the market. The main purpose of this report is to encapsulate the outlook, mood and tone of the consumers concerning the economy.
