Lower-Low

Back to Glossary

In technical analysis, a lower-low occurs after a bounce has temporarily convinced the market that a further drop is off the table for the moment. As traders scramble to identify the new area of support the price continues to fall even further than on the previous leg down, forming a lower-low.
