BottomBack to Glossary
A bottom is any point at which a downtrending price reaches a level where it stops going down due to increased buying pressure. If the price level holds, it usually leads to a trend reversal and the price starts to go up again. When this happens an asset is said to have ‘bottomed-out’. When this price level fails to hold and it continues to go down it’s referred to as a temporary bottom.
